Privacy Policy

Account information. Name, email address, date of birth, and sex — provided by you or your coaching organization. Date of birth and sex are used to compare results against age- and sex-appropriate reference ranges.

Training and performance data. Workouts and logged sets, performance test results, personal records, readiness check-ins, class bookings and attendance, and programs assigned by your coaches.

Health-related information. Where your organization enables it: body measurements and body composition, health-screening questionnaires (such as a PAR-Q), and signed consent or waiver documents.

Nutrition data. Food and meal logs you choose to record, including foods identified by scanning a barcode with your device camera.

Photos. Progress photos you choose to upload from your camera or photo library. We access only the photos you select.

Messages. Messages you exchange with your coaching staff inside the Service.

Technical data. Device push notification tokens (if you enable notifications), sign-in and security logs, and basic device information needed to run the app.

Payments. Membership and purchase status is displayed in the Service, but payment card details are collected and processed by our payment processors — we never store card numbers.

We use your information solely to operate the Service: delivering your training and coaching, displaying your results and progress, enabling communication with your coaching staff, sending service-related emails and the notifications you opt into, and keeping the Service secure.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Your coaching organization. Coaches and authorized staff at the organization that created your account can view the training, testing, health-screening, and related records needed to coach you.

Parents and guardians.For minor athletes, a parent or guardian linked by the coaching organization can view the athlete’s results, reports, schedule, and documents.

Service providers. We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the Service — database and file hosting, web hosting, transactional email, and push notification delivery (including Apple). They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of athletes, our users, or the Service.

Athlete accounts for minors are created by the coaching organization as part of its services, with consent obtained from a parent or guardian through the organization. Parents and guardians can review their athlete’s information through linked guardian access and can contact us or the organization at any time about their child’s data.

We keep your information while your account is active with your coaching organization. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing onyx@onyxperformanceos.com or by asking your coaching organization. We honor verified requests within 30 days, except where we must retain records to meet legal obligations (for example, signed waivers).

Data is encrypted in transit, stored with access controls that limit visibility to your organization’s authorized staff, and protected by role-based permissions throughout the Service. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for least access — including private, expiring links for report downloads.

You can update your profile information in the app, disable push notifications in iOS Settings at any time, choose never to upload photos or log nutrition, and unsubscribe from non-essential emails. You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal information using the contact below.
